Hi and thanks for stopping by! My name is Claudia, and I’ve been a personal chef since 2011. I am an imaginative chef who has been preparing delicious food from scratch for over 25 years. I have always been interested in eating organic, non-proceeded foods that come from whole ingredients.
I am client centered and pay careful attention to the special needs, requests, diets and preferences of my clients. I provide suggested menus not only for traditional diets, but also paleo, celiac, vegetarian and restricted diets.
I enjoy cooking healthy and delicious meals for busy families and helping them find a path to a healthier lifestyle.
I have never been a fan of diets. Except the 10 years I was a vegetarian, I have never cut anything out of my diet. People count calories, omit whole food categories, and starve themselves, all in the hopes of being healthier. I think what is more important is paying attention to the quality of the food we put in our bodies. Use whole ingredients, buy from local small farms, shop organic, look for unprocessed foods, and find humanely handled animal products. Eat in moderation. Avoid sugar and carbs when you can, but remember to indulge every once in a while. Eating should be fun and delicious!
I have recently enjoyed expanding my culinary practices to include food blogging, recipe developing and food photography. I have contributed and collaborated with companies like Earth Fare, Happy Go Lucky Foods, Bee Tree Bone Broth and Ole Smoky Moonshine.
If I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me taking hikes with my boyfriend, dog and kids; knitting and sewing; thrifting/antiquing; relaxing in the hammock or by the fire with some prosecco.
I love to hear from readers. Please leave a comment, send me an email, or find me on social media. If you are interesting in working with me, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can talk about partnership opportunities. I look forward to hearing from you!
